What Sets ProjektLeder.international Chaps Leather Apart

Protection That Lasts

ProjektLeder.international chaps leather is built for situations where your material really needs to hold up. It offers reliable protection against friction, scrapes, branches and changing weather, while staying pleasantly flexible. High abrasion and tear resistance make it exceptionally durable and ideal for everyday demands.

Comfortable in Any Climate

The leather moves with you without restricting movement, staying comfortable even during long days of use. It's also breathable, keeping conditions balanced whether it's summer or winter. Functionality here meets a natural, tactile feel that only gets better with age.

A Wide Range of Looks

Visually, chaps leather offers a wide choice of colours and finishes — from soft and supple to rugged and textured. This makes it easy to match the material to your style, whether for classic Western chaps, touring gear or heavy-duty workwear.

Easy to Maintain and Work With

Thanks to built-in stain protection, upkeep is simple. The leather holds its shape well and can be neatly sewn, stapled, glued, tacked or stretched — ideal for precise saddlery work and for standing up to dust and moisture in daily use.

Where It's Used

Typical applications include Western riding, where it provides classic leg and saddle protection, motorcycle gear as extra wind and abrasion protection, and outdoor workwear such as agriculture and forestry. Anywhere mobility, protection and durability matter, ProjektLeder.international chaps leather is the right choice.

From Cowhide to Buffalo: The Character Behind Chaps Leather

Chaps leather is more than just leather. It's the material that goes with you wherever the outdoors takes you — in the saddle, on a motorcycle, or at work. It needs to feel right, protect reliably and last for years.

  • • Cowhide: The classic choice — sturdy, grippy and long-lasting, with an ideal balance of stability and flexibility.
  • • Suede: Also known as velour. Soft and natural, with a lively character all its own.
  • • Nubuck: A fine, velvety surface, also available water-repellent on request.
  • • Buffalo leather: A strong grip and remarkable durability that keeps its character for years.

Sustainability & Ethics

Good leather shouldn't come at the environment's expense. Our chaps leather is produced without AZO dyes, CFCs or PCP. The Antique Natural Leather and Veggi Natural Leather collections are IVM-certified and chrome-free tanned, following clear, sustainable standards — a material that's durable, functional and fairly produced.
